Banana on toast is a simple but satisfying snack. I was only introduced to it a few weeks ago and have been obsessed with it ever since. It’s a great breakfast as it’s packed full fibre so you won’t get hungry mid-morning. I mean, it’s no Nutella on toast but it satisfies any sugary cravings you may be having!
1. You will need half a banana for each slice of toast (so a whole banana for 2 slices) and a bit of vegan butter.
2. As your bread is toasting, chop up the banana into thin disks. Once you’ve buttered your bread, lay the banana on top.
Note: brown bread works best for this recipe!
